About GRS Certified Recycled Polyurethane
Recycled polyurethane (otherwise known as PU) is a vegan leather alternative to traditional leather, PVC and virgin polyurethane. GRS Certified Polyurethane is a recycled version of polyurethane, and is a solution to the waste of both pre and post consumer polyurethane.
Traditional virgin polyurethane is durable and takes significantly less resources to process than leather, but it has drawbacks, especially when it is not used responsibly. Recycled, certified polyurethane is a great alternative to animal leather, PVC and virgin polyurethane.
