About Linen
Linen, derived from the flax plant, is a natural and biodegradable fibre which we consider to be sustainable. Its cultivation takes far fewer resources compared to cotton or polyester. Flax thrives in poor soil, even rehabilitating polluted areas, and boasts high carbon absorption. This resilience makes linen a great choice and one of our favourite materials.
Flax uses 13 times less pesticides than potatoes, but is only approximately 1% of the world’s apparel fibre consumption.
