Community: Weft upholds ethical manufacturing and collaborates closely with Australian-based, family-owned manufacturers to create ethically-made soft furnishings and garments.

Conservation: Weft prioritises organically certified, recycled and mono fibres, in alignment with their sustainability goals. They promote regenerative farming practices, and require reduced transportation as their products are made in Australia.

Australian Made: Weft proudly designs, cuts and sews their range in Australia.



Certified Fibres: Many of Weft’s fibres are GOTS and OEKO-Tex certified, meaning they are tested for harmful chemicals and made from certified organically produced raw materials. GOTS Certification includes strict environmental, human rights and social criteria for operations along the entire textile supply chain.



Circular Solutions: Weft has circular solutions in place, including their intentional choice to use monofibres to encourage recycling. Supporting local and ethical production and manufacturing is another pillar of Weft's circular design principles. By working with local producers and makers, Weft promotes sustainability through reduced transportation, strengthening local economies, and ensuring better labour practices.

Organic Materials: Weft’s textiles comprise of many organic materials, and hold GOTS certification on a wide range of their products.



Responsible Dyeing: Many of Weft’s products hold OEKO-Tex certification, which tests against harmful chemicals. Their products are responsibly dyed without the use of harmful chemicals.



Supply Chain Traceability: We have rated Weft with great supply chain traceability. Their use of certified textiles provides great oversight of their supply chain and for the fibres that aren’t traced, they are sustainable such as hemp. Weft work closely with their manufacturers and their production is Australian based, which means that they have excellent control over manufacturing standards and ensuring worker’s wellbeing.
