Eco Conscious Materials: Lost Woods use future focused materials that are certified and sustainability focused. Their handbags are
made from MIRUM, which is a USDA certified bio-based material. The factory that makes MIRUM is powered by renewable energy. The organic cotton lining is GOTS certified, therefore traceable from the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing. Inside the structured bags there is an interfacing board, which is made from plant-cellulose. It is made with 50% recycled cellulose, and is recyclable in itself. The polyester bag straps are fabricated from MIRUM and a recycled polyester. The dust bags are made from organic cotton.

Ethical Manufacturing: Lost Woods work closely with their factory in Portugal which is family-owned. They have implemented a Code of Conduct, and have visited this factory as part of their commitment to transparency and ensuring ethical manufacturing. Their workers are paid fairly with the opportunity to receive annual raises, as well as extra paid time off during significant holidays.

Exclusively Vegan Brand: Lost Woods is exclusively vegan and their brand is founded on principles of animal welfare. Their brand name pays homage to the forests and wildlife lost to leather from cattle ranching for beef and leather, the biggest driver of deforestation in the world.
