About Rayon, Viscose & Modal
Rayon is a man-made biodegradable fibre derived from natural materials. It is a regenerated cellulose, typically obtained from wood pulp. The usual raw material for rayon production is eucalyptus trees, although any plant, such as bamboo, soy, cotton, and others, can be utilised.
Viscose stands as the earliest commercially accessible semi-synthetic cellulosic fibre, initially introduced in 1905.

It's crucial to note that the harvesting and processing methods for rayon can vary and historically has been tied to environmental issues. Our focus lies in transforming the fashion and textiles sector by advocating for the adoption of fibres and materials with superior environmental benefits compared to traditional synthetics like polyester and nylon.
